I just ordered a new CWC G10 quartz from CWC via cwcwatch.com. The prices are the same as from Silvermans BUT cwcwatch.com doesn't charge for standard shipping so it's £3.99 cheaper than from Silvermans. Just wanted to mention it if anyone is about to buy one because it's not immediately obvious that standard shipping is free from CWC direct.
Please feel free to post pics of your G10s to whet my already whet appetite!! :-)
Lovely! I have one of Eddie's sand brown natos ready for it. Am hoping the 20mm will fit the 19mm lug width ok.
Cheers pal. Looks great!! Is that the 18mm NATO issue strap it comes shipped with?
On the left an unissued example, bought after I joined here looking for advice on buying this type of watch to use for work, having decided to retire my Datejust from firefighting duties. I subsequently bought the two issued examples as the bug bit, a Precista 6BB from 1984 (RAF issue one of 1600 made that year only) and the W10 from 1983.

Thanks guys. Got a call from Silverman's (despite ordering via the cwc ebsite) to confirm my delivery address. Am going to save it to open on my birthday next Wednesday. Are the current ETA 955.102 movements hacking?
Merci Laurent
Just found that CWC has a Facebook group. Some great watch porn on there: https://www.facebook.com/cwcwatch/
I managed to wait until this morning to open my package from Silvermans/CWC. I love it!!! Nice and slim even on the nato and a great case size. I really like the dark blue nato issue strap it came on (with 'signed' buckle no less). I worried that the watch might be a touch bland but the dial details of the minute track and the relatively large numbers seem likely to prevent this. The seconds hand didn't quite hit the markers when I first took it out the box but after I set it to my atomic GShock they are hitting perfectly. Not sure what that's all about?
I still haven't sorted a photobucket alternative out but will post a pic as soon as I do.
Just tried it on one of Eddie's 20mm natos and it's too tight and doesn't look right so I'll be sticking to 19mm natos for this. Need to get some new ones in as that's definitely one of the pleasures of these type of fixed bar watches :-)
Case numbers on the back are: W10/6645-99 5415317 6219/17 if that means anything to anyone. Presume the /17 refers to the year of manufacture?

If the enemy are close enough to hear your watch ticking I think you’re pretty much f#*ked!
I didn't think I like G10's much till I saw this! Looks really good in black- great combo with that colour nato.

I don't get the black version of these G10's. They have always had a matted finish and should stay like that imo. It's just a sales gimmick.
Unfortunately it seems to be the way the CWC are going now.

This seems good value from silvermans

I just checked my g10 timing and it has lost one second since I changed it in October when bst ended. Am I lucky or are other cwc owners experiencing the same accuracy?
Can report something similar with mine.😳
You cannot beat a G10 for men. Every watch collector should own one imo.
