Best independent watch servicing - London?

Will be for a Vacheron constantin which I am fully aware run notoriously high for service costs.

Looking for potential alternatives in the London area.

London/Essex all easy to travel to. WIll look into them. Any other suggestions?

I haven't used them but was recommended Russell Tallerman in Mayfair by one of the watch shops there (Marcus I think) and they timed a watch for me on the spot.

Yes I would be interested in such a thing. Newbie question, but obviously you want your watch to be accurate(if you buy 2nd hand), and people say it should be X +/- e.g. +/- 15 seconds. So could you just go to these kind of shops strike up a convo and ask them to do it for you>?
