Picked up from AD today. Aerospace Evo Volcanic Black. Incredibly light. Unbelievably so. Very much enjoying it on the wrist. Happy days.

A 40(ish) year old Rolex Date. Few bumps and bruises, but I think it still looks pretty good. While I like it on a NATO, I need to get a decent 19mm strap or bracelet for it to make it a touch smarter...
Also, contrary to the photograph, it does just have a single seconds hand :)
A new (to me) Speedy.
Have thought that my "Moonwatch" time was nigh for a few months. Never thought it would be an auto however. Thanks to the Forum and the seller.

It was an option so it's likely original. I love the engine turned bezels. Prefer them to fluted by a long way
Had the Pepsi a while back and flipped it, but this feels like a good'un

Something cheap and cheerful for a holiday abroad in some places where an expensive watch on display is a bad idea. Think there might be a strap change and I might not be testing the 100m depth limit! Thanks to Mr Omidyar for another one for the collection.
Took delivery of this early last week from SC. It hasn't left my wrist since I received it, making it the longest time I've worn one watch since I've had more than one watch. Half my collection seem irrelevant now.

Second I've owned, this one is staying. Japanese version, with pretty much perfect chapter ring alignment
The wee beastie 52mm of diving tool watch

This arrived earlier this week but been too busy to resize etc so just getting around to that today, although I always imagined these being better suited to their oem nato. Fancied trying one as it meets three of my collecting criteria being, Tudor, blue and a little marmitesque.
Just got this today, been hankering for a while then passing by Fraser Hart there was one of the last few remaining ETA versions at a great price... just had to say yes'

Rather pleased I found this, had one years ago and loved it but it finally fell to pieces

Hi again Ian. The Tiger Concept has arrived (no photos of that or the black bay sorry, I'm away for the weekend).
The Tiger is a nice little watch, wears quite a bit smaller than the black bay (because it is, at 38.something mm v 41mm). The case shape, crystal shape, everything really is very different. It is a homage and not a copy. It's black bay only in the dial and hands design and bezel colour.
The overall quality is good, almost very good for the price (but I'd go for a Seiko 5 pseudo diver for the same money, at least you get 100m water resistance). Timekeeping is superb, actually about 5 seconds a day better than my black bay!
Is it worth buying to see if you like a black bay? I don't think so, it just wears so differently. But if you want a vintage vibe auto diver for just over a ton, not bad, not bad at all.
PS, don't order it with the nato's, they are of lovely quality nylon, bit too thick to fold back into the keepers!
Bought from SC and delivered this morning. I could have kissed the postman

And my new arrival

These 2 actually landed with me some time ago but needed some attention so went off to Duncan for servicing/reanimation.
The 6309 is all original bar the new crystal Duncan fitted and dates from Jan 77. The Arnie dates from 1981 and is original bar a new crystal, re-lumed hands and a new chapter ring. Pleased as punch with both of them

Two nice retro watches. The Arnie looks better with the battered bezel. Either you agree or there aren't any replacements available
Thanks for sharing.
New to me; Navitimer World
This has been on my wtb list for years and found this. Six months old and over 1.5k less than retail. Loving it.

Took a chance on this and so far I'm very pleased with it. Normally a Diver wearer so this is not typically the style or the size I'd go for but I am very glad I did.
Yes. I did the ones on the bottom of the bezel with sticking my hand into my bag rather vigorously and dragging it along the zip. It's going to be a daily wearer though so with that in mind it's probably going to get a lot worse!
I don't understand your alignment comment. They're not screws they're hex bolts so are always perfectly lined up. The screws thread through and into the bolt heads from the rear of the case.
