Top left no question, looks awesome, and is versatile. I do love the green LV bezel, but I dont often wear tops which I think compliment a green bezel. I placed a black bezel over-the-counter top of the ghost bezel on my submariner and it just looked boring in comparison to me

Standard bezel inserts get my vote. The newer black inserts look a little too new for me.

    It's only a bezel

It's a nice bezel on the top left and it's what I'd keep on my red 1680 but aesthetically I secretly prefer a black bezel on a red sub.

The black on the red sub is just to black compared with the dial and the black on the LV makes
It look like every other sub IMHO

    Top left is absolutely gorgeous.

I like the LV as original but prefer the red sub with black bezel as I think the dial then stands out more.

What happened to the first link (12 o'clock side on the left?)

And answer to your question - green all the way 👍🏻

The black bezel with the maxi dial just looks wrong.

Top left on a strap perhaps a grey fabric (not nato) or a dark grey suede leather for that vintage look, black on red sub with bracelet, personally not a fan of the kermit

Standard on both for me. I just goes to show how such small changes can make a huge difference to how a watch looks.

Why are you considering swapping the bezel inserts?

Apologies if I have missed something

Top left just looks washed out and faded to me, it was never meant to look like that when the watch was new. On that basis I`d go for a black replacement........but I've never 'got' the vintage Sub thing where scruffier is deemed to be better.

As for the LV, whenever I see that green bezel I remind myself why I never wanted one. Green looks OK on lawns, leaves and Kermit the Frog, but never on a watch bezel. The maxi dial and hands are nicer than the standard offerings, and I can`t understand why Rolex didn`t standardise these on the 16610, but the green bezel is a no-no.

    Oh ok cheers

My thoughts are there is nothing wrong with any of the inserts, black inserts look incredible and bery versatile but I would keep the watches original if they were mine

"Just a bezel", well, not really. The dial is what makes the Kermit nice.

The "bezels" you are referring to are the "inserts"

Top left for me. Never got the "Green" thing myself.

I don't like the faded bezel look - way too blue looking for me. To be honest, I don't like faded bezels at all. Like the jet black a lot. Looks so much better on the red sub.

Personally I think the original/standard bezels look fantastic and in keeping with the character of the watches.

the standard top ones look good.

I tried the black bezel on my lv but only lasted a day with it before putting the green one back on.

out of interest - Whats up with the bracelet on the left hand sub - first link above 11o/c.....?

I quite like the faded blue for some reason.

    Cheers
