Can't help with the iOS issue, but maximum respect due to the tune selection!
Anyone got a fix for error messages when plugging my headphones into my iPhone7 ... all was good before the latest update, not the headphones work for a minute before getting the message, reboot and it does eactly the same ... its driving me nuts! Grrrrr!

Haven't tried headphones in mine but the battery drains quickly now and when you put it on solent using the side slide button it keeps switching it on and off so you can't trust that its on silent. Not ideal. Awaiting the fix!
Are these issues just on the 7, as I have had no problems on my 6s?
No it's not ideal is it :(
I've had a quick google around but can't find anything like I'm experiencing ... I'm using an aftermarket port plug on my earbuds in work .. I'll see what happens with the original Apple one when I get home .... missing my tunes in work today!!
Do you mean a non apple lightning port dongle to a female 3.5mm stereo jack socket or a 3rd party DAC/amp unit? I guess it was ok before the latest update? I read the notes (yes really) and it was more to do with locating lost air pods than much else. I'm a lover of Apple but they really are sneaking in 'things' to maintain their own universe lately. I suspect anything that uses the cck will get hobbled soon.

I've got an SE and since the update, I get the message -cannot activate touch ID on this phone- at start up sometimes but it then goes on to work fine.
Battery life however has taken a real dive - I am considering restore but I have deleted the ipsw so I may just live with it until they fix it.

As suspected it's the after market leads by the looks .... plugged the Apple one into my phone and iPad air and everything is good, plugged the aftermarkets into both and same symptoms, music plays for 30 seconds or so then the error message.
That's a real pain as I have 3 pairs of headphones I use regularly and only one (authentic) lead ... bloody Apple!!
Also browsing eBay I notice a lot of the aftermarket leads are now advertised as 'not compatible with IOS 10.3 and later'
Oh well ... hand in pocket time it is then!!
HOW MUCH!!!!!! flippin ek!! ........ sorry to keep going on about this! :)
