two of my favourite past-times! How does it work - sign-up - then we are told the 'secret location'?
Hey Gang!
Pleased to announce that the next time 4A pint get together in London, will be on Tuesday 18th April 2017.
This month we had 33 of us in a pub, geeking out over watches and drinking too much beer - I know a few people that came along are members here too, would be great if a few more were to join us in April!
Sign up Here!
Cheers
Chris
two of my favourite past-times! How does it work - sign-up - then we are told the 'secret location'?
Yes!
We share the location with everyone 24 hours before hand - people that haven't been before get contacted, we have a bit of a chat to vet them, ask for proof they're a collector rather than someone with a crowbar and a transit van who want's to take all the watches home with them.
Much easier to do if the person know's someone who's been before - as I said, I think a few chaps from here came along on Tuesday... and mentioned there had been some TZ get togethers in the past ;)
If i get accepted, how do you decide which watch to wear!?
I'll may put my name down - but how can I know you guys are not all crow bar wealders - you only posted 4 times here?
That's a good question.
I've posted 3500 + times on the Omega Forums (https://omegaforums.net/members/tyrantlizardrex.1643/)
And been running time 4A pint since November last year.
This month we had 33 collectors in the room, plus the team from Fellows Auctioneers who were showing off some lots from their upcoming April auction.
Prove to me that you're not a crow bar wealding nut job, and I might approve you. ;)
Hi I popped along and it was a really friendly fun event. I brought a grand total of one watch along but will bring more next time!
Well I have 4400+ posts on this forum since 2008, used to be a moderator for Breitling sub-forum on a well known fora - but I still might be a nut job :-). Anyway it sounds a fun time. I'll be in touch! Thanks for taking the time to organise this style of events.
Sorry - I won't be joining as I prefer not to disclose my personal details. I wish you luck with the group anyway.

Me too. Thanks for organizing Chris.
Really had a fun time last week for my first Time4aPint. Lots of nice watch enthusiasts willing to chat and have a good time. Will try to be at more of these meet ups. Thanks Chris.
Never been to one of these before, but I am really looking forward to going on the 18th, meeting some forum members and looking at some nice watches!
Thanks for organising.
Cool! Sounds fun!!
I'd be keen to join in too.
Apart from the OP's own reply above, see:
Seems like my sort of thing...add me to the list, please.

Thanks to everyone for signing up, it looks like there are 11 TZ members keen to come along, which is ace.
If anyone else would like to join us, please register ASAP as there are only 20 spaces left before hitting capacity for the venue.

Great night out last night.
Enjoyed seeing Andy's collection of Autavias. Lots of omega forum people there also with interesting omegas. The Rolex honeycomb was was wonderful to see (apparently only 7 in the world and the chap has 2 of them!). The Lemania was also really nice. I only managed to take a few pictures as I was chatting.
Thanks for organising Chris.
Looking forward to the next one!
That's all I managed to take..

I'm afraid I like cocktails and tapas far too much to join you. If it were port and cheese, then perhaps ;)
Good to chat last night and hope to make the next one.
Oh. And welcome to #teamwatchnerd (along with a very confused Nicholas Parsons).
