I much love to spot watches in moves. I spoted an Omega probably constellation on the latest "pain and gain" movie and I'm visiting the related web sites very often.
Even as I write this I feel there may be ridicule heaped my way but was watching a movie with the missus the other night (i wont bore you with which)and spotted tom hardy wearing this.
I have to say I really like it. I was surprised at the price though as I didn't know Dior made watches.
Posted already but the Reverso in the Thomas Crowne affair introduced me (and I suspect a few others) to the brand; now on my third Reverso. And Christian Bale's in the Batman series too was nice to see :)
Otherwise all the Speedy action in Apollo 13 is hard not to enjoy!
Favourite watch in a film is Alec Guiness's Tissot Chronograph in The Ladykillers.
Was actually just wondering what this watch in the new X-Men file is - the film is set in 1973.

Sorry for crap image - but if anyone has seen the file they might know?
Not from a film but in the new series of Hawaii Five-O (trash TV but entertaining if you dont take it seriously) Alex O'Loughlin wears an IWC Aquatimer and Daniel Dae Kim wears a Kobold
I don't think that's stupid, because the case of the Alsta does bear a passing resemblance to the case shape of the Ministry Amphibian. But, at least for me, I think the evidence is pretty conclusive from the Worn and Wound page Estoban7 linked in post #26 as well as the picture below (which no one has posted yet) that the watch was the Alsta. The marker shape is clearly identifiable, as is the case shape, shape of the hands, and the combo numbering on the Harlequin bezel.
The Speedy Pro in Event Horizon (about 42s in).

In film I'd like to nominate Gordon Gekko's Cartier:
And for TV what about J.R. Ewing's Day-Date?
Heuer 1000 in the Wolf of Wallstreet, makes me want to buy one, in gold, and throw it in the crowd
Loving this thread.
Nice to know everyone else can't watch a film without eyeing up the timepieces.
Check out http://watchesinmovies.info/ at your own risk....you end up losing a few hours searching for every film you've ever seen.
McQueen in LeMans
Sean Connery in Goldfinger!

Robert De Niro wears a Jardur Bezelmeter in one of my favourite movies, Ronin.
Rich.
Indeed - as used to good effect on Miss Caruso's (Madeline Smith) zipper:

Caruso: "Such a delicate touch..."
Bond: "Sheer magnetism, darling."
Autavia 2446 MH, valjoux 72, the Exorcist...
(thanks Foxy100)
I just watched the sickest film I've seen for ages and it featured at least one classic watch... The film is called "Gun Woman" and features Asami totally naked throughout much of the film....I'm not quite sure whether to post this in the "CHRONOPORN" thread or here...

You rarely seem to get a clear case back shot.
Liam Neeson in Unknown (2011)
...especially which reinforces the sense that most film makers don't know their watches - this Deep Sea Sea Dweller model wasn't available in 2006 - or the rather more worrying notion that when secret agents create a legend (fake backstory) for one of their own, they don't pay proper attention to detail which could blow their cover....
Where do I start!
I loved the Patek Philippe in Drive. Which I believe was a fake!
I also liked the vintage Seamaster that Ryan Gosling wore in La La Land.
I also liked how the 1655 had a starring role in 3 days to kill.
Damn my pics don't work!
Brando's Rolex GMT with missing bezel in Apocalypse Now is one of my favourites.

Omega Seamaster 2254.50 on Liev Schreiber's wrist in Ray Donovan has got to be up there. It's never shoved in your face but it's obvious that the character has a love of watches (He has a drawer full), and it's a really cool piece to be wearing.
Goldfinger Sub on undersized NATO is obviously a classic. Amusingly wearing a NATO rather than the bracelet because his arms were too hairy and found the bracelet to be uncomfortable!
Oh, and a great YouTube video discussing some of the Bond watches here (German with English subtitles):
