Yep looks far to big, I really like IWC but the sizes put me off.
I had a couple of hours to kill in Zurich yesterday so wandered down Bahnhofstrasse to look at some watches. I'd been interested to see the new IWC Timezoner Chronograph ((IW395001) in te flesh so popped into the IWC Salon.
Sorry for the crap iPhone pics.

I really liked the timezone feature, but it does seem to wear big!

Far too much going on, and its a tad large
Way too small. What was IWC thinking when they released such a tiny watch?
i don't mind large watches but in combination with such a busy dial it seems cluttered ...
Although this is apparently an in house movement.
The only plus side to it being big is that I could actually read the city ring, which I can't on a lot of world timers.
But as other have said, maybe just too much going on. Did it need to have a chronograph as well, I wonder?
I did really like the city ring, just press and rotate to change the time zone, and it copes with summer time.

It isn't something I would buy - it seems to me that it is one of IWC's more niche products and so not intended to appeal to the masses.
The size is probably necessary in order to fulfill its intended function, from both a visual perspective and perhaps to accommodate the mechanicals.
It does look a bit too big, the city ring could do with a mm or two shaved off I'd say.
Another clown sized watch. When will the manufacturer's learn?
Hideous
Such a shame to see the brand disintegrate. IWC used to be such focussed simple watches with nothing to try to prove.
Wow no no no....what are IWC doing? It's huge and far too busy. Bring back the classic design....Please!
I don't have a problem with the size. But I find that bezel horrifying.
Not a fan of that at all. I'm sure the size will be fine for some, but one of the things I like about IWC is their ability to make simple dials very appealing. This one just has far too much going on for me
But the way the bezel works is fabulous!

I do like that annual calendar - lovely dial colour too - what size is it case diam?
Only thing I would change about it is the day and month - maybe cos I'm Scottish lol but it seems counter intuitive to have them not the other way around ie the day first then the number and lastly the month. - - - Updated - - -
Like a breitling navitimer that's been on the steroids......
That's just too much - and I own an IWC pilot so am usually a fan
