Mercedes AA Class electric car - any good?

    Hi Guys
As many of you know I am pretty antedeluvian when it comes to cars.
I am coming to realise that in its 66th year it is time to retire my current motor and get with modern technology.
I am thinking of going the whole hog and, after 45+ years of driving old polluting technology making reparation by going electric.
Has anyone any experience of the Mercedes AA Class?

I can't get my head round the practicalities Scott. For one thing - who makes extension leads that long?
That is why I thought the Mercedes AA Class would be a good bet; easily obtainable fuel cells.

Come on guys, I'm clueless here

Let me ask the question in the style of a rugby referee; is this car viable for everyday use- yes or no?

Everyone knows the key application, in the US at least, is road freight. Despite being single-figure percentages of road traffic, heavy haulage accounts for two thirds of noxious nasties*

Elon Musk has a semi-on for semi-trucks powered by electricity at the moment. It's been done before however - as the example below shows:

*numbers are my recollection so may not be accurate but I believe it's around that ballpark.

Many thanks kungfugerbill; I was beginning to suspect that it was a wind-up.

Of course it's not a wind up. It's electric!
