Like so many, I would like to introduce myself to the forum with an initial post. I've been a lurker for a couple of years and figured that I should really start to contribute.

I suppose I have been collecting watches for about 20 years, although there have been gaps where finances and other demands have stopped the obsession (probably a good thing really). I've not really bothered with a specific style of watch and so have found myself with divers, dress watches and chronographs. I'll attempt to upload some pictures shortly.

My current focus is on understanding more about the movements and I have completely destroyed several cheap ebay purchases this year in an attempt to gain a basic competence (my wife finds this highly entertaining - "Have you broken it yet?"). Don't worry, I know my limits and will not be trying my luck anything worth more than a fiver.

    Fingers crossed...

    Where it started,
Zenith Automatic from the early 90s. I don't really wear this one much anymore, but it has a special place.

    Omega from about 2000

My first chronograph, picked up about 10 years ago

    Quickly followed by a monster

Finally, something cheap off ebay - I liked the way the date was placed - though I imagine it is not to everyone's taste.

There are others in and around but this is a start and I'll look dumb if the images don't show, so I'll stop there for now.

    Welcome Steve. Like that Zenith.

Had an El Primero a number of years back which I got rid of. One of my bigger regrets.

Welcome, I like the blue faced one. Date placement is funny.
