A friend of mine has just got a Nautilus, the basic one 5711, I'm desperately trying not to get into them as I know it'll be a slippery slope and I'll end up selling a few pieces to purchase either a Aquanaut or a Nautilus. Its a lovely watch and I really enjoyed the size weight and shape, much more than I was expecting.

He was VERY lucky to get a call from a Rolex AD last month with a Daytona C for him, he promptly sold it to a dealer for £12500 and as luck would have it got a call about a blue dial Nautilus days after. He does spend an awful lot on watches and has a great relationship with his AD but this is just not fair. I am very tempted to put my name down for a Nautilus but would genuinely find it hard to part with any of my current line up.

Threads like this are NOT helping me.

I do enjoy reading them though. Thanks

a friend of mine got this decade ago at GBP5k and over the years she spent GBP2.5K for new batteries, replacement of circuit board, overhaul and polishing the bracelet by PP. Never overlook the maintenance costs.

^^^ Beautiful though I am sure it is on the right wrist, I dare say that that is not the Patek Philippe TZ-UK is looking for. ;-)

Agreed and I'd kill to have one!! There is something about Patek's Rose Gold that is just so right and with the chocolate dial it pops.

    You only live once.

No one ever lay on their deathbed wishing they'd bought less watches.

But don't just take my word for it... let's hear from some famous bitches...

But some might have laid on their death cardboard boxes and wished they'd bought fewer watches.

I think the Nautilus starts at just over £18k and obviously a lot more for the models with additional complications.

Interestingly, I was in a PP AD and they don't hold price lists, the sales people have an app that they use to check things.
