I know Big nose is real, cos I seen him.
Do you think bigfoot is real ? Saskwatch / yeti whatever you want to call him
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
I know Big nose is real, cos I seen him.
Yes. I've seen him.
Actually no probably not, but whatever, it gives the Yanks something to get excited about other than aliens at Area 51 so let them have it.
Fascinating myth, I still get a kick out of the documentaries, but check out the "eye-witnesses" who have supposedly seen the thing - if they told you it was raining you could safely go out without a coat.
There are thousands of Bigfoot Hunters out in the woods (same as the Loch Ness loonies) and if there was any truth to this stuff they'd surely have come up with some evidence by now.
I have had a pm saying do I mean bigfoot the ice cream . I do not mean the ice cream, I mean the sightings of a mythical hominid - are they real
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
It's possible that freaks of nature exist in strange lands.
I mean look at Norfolk. The Himalayas must be even more remote than that.
Mr. D Attenborough believes in Bigfoot, Dave. He's probably better placed than many to form an opinion.
If you're thinking of pulling together an expedition we'd better let jimp know so he can source some tactical man bags.
As a bi-ped no.

It's complete and utter codswallop of the highest order. I occasional pick up on the odd documentary that one of the lads has recorded and it goes a little like this. Some hillbilly records footage from about a thousands yards away of something that looks a little furry using a 2004 camera phone. The footage is very grainy and it could be really all manner of animals however the hillbilly assumes it's Bigfoot. He looks around the area after hearing blood curdling howling noises which doesn't concern him where he finds a piece of fur snagged up on a fence. National geographical turn up using dramatic shots and some bloke with a really deep voice and interview the said hillbilly. The hillbilly states that he's "lived around these parts for nigh on 50 years and I ain't never seen the likes of it... A team of "experts" turn up and scan the area for days using the latest infrared, high def, singing and dancing motion sensors where all they find is evidence of dogging and a few weasels. In the meantime another science type chap takes samples of the fur and analyses it for days in the lab. The team go off in search of other like minded country folk and again they all seem to have caught sight of something. Whilst this evidence proves inconclusive the team from the lab have some news about the sample of fur. The hillbilly, the lab expert, and team of experts all rock up to find out what the sample comes from. After much bullcrap they find out its actually the fur of a bear which they knew a week previously but it wouldn't quite fit in with the flow of the programme. The hillbilly goes off shouting that it's no way a bear as he's seen hundreds of those before. A few more dramatic shots later and the show ends.....not before they grab you with the headline that they'll be investigating Loch Ness monster, some bloke who saw a ufo and the strange occurrence of spontaneous human combustion.

Haven't you seen the documentary about it?

Joe rogan did a programme about it which pretty much dispelled all the myths about it. The guys who he interviewed about it were absolute crackpots.
Edit: Just realised Attenborough was quoted in the Radio Times. OK perhaps not the most reliable of Natural History journals...

We all know that Big Foot is nonsense, whereas Nessie is definitely real
6 million dollar man so very real. I remember the episode from my childhood
I would highly recommend watching 'Finding Bigfoot' on Animal Planet.
As one of the investigators says over the opening titles "these animals are IN FACT real".
It's required viewing. I love it.
Keep it squatchy.
No, nothing so scientific.
It's the one with three loons and a sceptic who travel to various states in the U.S. doing woodknocks and howls.
It's into its' sixth or so season; needless to say they haven't found him yet.
Perhaps it should be re-billed as 'Still Not Found Bigfoot'
It's comedy gold.
In a word, nope. In this world of everyone carrying smartphones with great video/cameras, if these things exist there'd be proof by now. And there isn't !😖

RHLSPC?
Living as I do in the rainforests of the NW US, I may have the dubious honour of residing the closest to prime Bigfoot territory of any TZ-UK member. In fact just last week I went for a hike through an area that's supposedly well known for Bigfoot encounters. Haven't sighted the big fellow yet... well, I thought I did once, but it was only a particularly hairy hipster bartender.
That should be proof enough!
