That is lovely. Well done,Jase.
Nice pics too.
Finding new straps and changing them is half the fun of Panerai ownership.
A long time ago I was the proud owner of a Panerai 112 Base that I bought off Jon Wallis, I loved that watch and had it years, unfortunately 4 years ago I was in the position that I had to sell some of my hard earned watches to make up a shortfall in a house deposit, the Panerai, a ProPlof, the Capeland XXL and a Chrono Avenger all had to go, buy hey, they are only watches at the end of the day and it was right at the time. The Panerai bug was still with me however and after seeing Vic Boyds 372 week after week on Facebook it wore me down and I mustered up the enthusiasm to seriously see what could be done about getting one, they popped up here and there on the forums but I wasn't ever in the position of getting one, so I had to sell a couple to get it, that was painful, it came down to the Tudor and Enebbi Im afraid, both great watches but I had my time with them and once the decision is made it gets easier to let them go, Alex had one for trade but was willing to sell too. Its got everything I like in a watch, its big, 47mm, hand wound, acrylic crystal, love these ( Ive converted many of mine to acrylic in fact ) no seconds Base dial, no date and vintage looking lume , some people don't like that, I do. The 1950s case is so well proportioned, highly polished bar the crown guard, its pretty shallow in depth so very comfortable and will fit under a cuff easily. 26mm lugs means Im in for some expense for new straps but thats half the fun. Winding it is a delight, super smooth and the in house P3000 gives a 3 day power reserve, the movement has a great feature of a independently movable hour hand, which is nice. The see through casebook shows off the movement nicely but it isn't very decorated, you can just see the engine turning on the bottom plate.
Its not for everyone, but it most definitely is for me.
I haven't stopped grinning all day.
That is lovely. Well done,Jase.

Congratulations, Jason.
The wait (for a new watch) makes it all the more enjoyable
Congratulations, that is so lovely. One day I will have one of these....
Thanks all , and thanks again for the advice Raj.
Cheers..

For reasons i can never quite make sense of, there is something about the 372 which means the more you use and abuse it, the better it looks.
Then weirdly as soon as you accept this, the thing is never marked
Great pics, and looks fantastic on you!
Always have liked the look of a 372, just wish i could carry it off
One of the nicest recent Panerais I think. I tried one but couldn't pull off 47mm sadly.
Perhaps at some point I'll find the most similar model in 44mm.
The perfect Panerai, congratulations. I also have one on the way!
Very nice Jason. A beast of a thing.
Clear and simple dial. In the words of an old Audi advert, fashion fades but style remains. This is both stylish and timeless.

Lovely watch! No.3 on my wish list! Will have to wait a while Already in plenty of trouble with the missus...
Congrats. I love mine!
They don't come better than this, aren't they? Congrats and enjoy!
Congrats.
I miss my PAM 210.
I love the simplicity of your new PAM Jason.
Shame I have no chance of getting away with a 47mm watch myself.
Enjoy it.
A thing of beauty. I too was tempted but the size just won't work for me. Enjoy, wear in good health etc.
Its actually 55mm with the crown.
You soon get used to it, I have / have had several watches of this size, a Enebbi Fondale, a Steinhart pilot, Citizen Autozilla so Im used to the size.
Congratulations and good to read you are back in a position where you can afford watches again.

Some PAM's ouse pure class and the 372 is certainly one of these.
Lov it.
The 372 is one of the best to come out in a decade and its simplicity coupled with gold hands and ideally a plexi dial make it a fantastic watch to own
