Heads up: Jura Watches sale... increased discounts

Jura appear to be clearing out some watches. It's a shame that their JLCs have disappeared from the sale, but there are some decent deals...

Yeah if the JLC 1931 tribute was in the sale I'd be happy, but the quartz, meh :-) The JLC Master Compressor chrono has mysteriously disappeared out of sale and gone to full price. Understandable really though as all the above are -50%.

Nice to see a UK dealer having a 'proper' sale, sick of seeing the americans get all the deals.

Some good reductions but you do have to trawl to find them. I'm currently mulling over the Nomus Zurich Datum S as fancied the cheaper smaller models so frantically working out the differences. There's a nice Fortis in there too but that's a bit more left field for my tastes.

The Certinas are good value for the money with 50% off.

If the grey dialled Powermatic 80 with 12-3-6-9 silver numerals had been in there, I would have pounced. Boo.

Aagh just agonised over the Zurich then pressed the button and sold out. Able to buy and try at home too so why did I hesitate? Now gotta convince myself it was always going to be a little too big and the 38mm would have been better.....

If anyone on here bagged one and doesn't want it pm me please.

After I queried the Oris Artix part number not matching the watch they were showing on that page, it seems they've got there wires crossed when listing the watches. This has resulted in them listing the Artilier Complication on bracelet for just £660. It's a beautiful watch for this price, though not my personal taste. Thought I'd post as they said they only had one, and it may be of help to someone. (they even have 0% for 12m on sale watched too BTW)

That Oris Aquis is pretty nice and a good price too. Any GS at half price is a pretty decent depreciation free but for a while too so great purchase there.

I'd have had the aquis if it was the 43mm, 40mm is too small for a diver for me, bit gutted

Well it seems to have gone since I linked to it. I thought it was 43mm as if it had been 40mm if I would probably have bought it.

To be honest their try at home and return at their expense (if >£1k) policy is excellent for impulse untried buying.

    Yeah good policy.

It was definitely the 40mm on rubber, unless they added another later that I missed?

I stand corrected, you're right. Funny though as the Acquis is shown on other sites as 43mm so there may be multiple sizes offered.

Yeah, 43mm is definitely the mainstream model. They do the 40mm in a limited colour range. First thing I did when I saw it was google part number and took me to Oris's site where it was confirmed 40mm.

I didn't see deepreddaves post, but I bought the Aquis.

I never realised they came in 40mm and when I saw it, I pondered for a while then thought there was nothing to lose as I can return or offer it to someone on here.

If it's not for me I'll see if anyone here is interested before I return it.

The 40mm has quite the following. Some find the strap and deployment too chunky on the 43mm. It's a bargain whichever way you look at it, and I'm sure there'll be plenty wanting it off you if you decide it's not for you.

Holy ****! One of my favourite watches of all time, half price!!

Faberge. I know what you're thinking but I saw this in Venice once and wanted it ever since. The dial looks so much better in reality.

I just found out it's an ETA. £16k rrp... surely that's one of the most expensive out-sourced movement watches of all time

Their stock is changing though at least, so keep re-visiting the site.
