Where to buy used Seiko in Singapore?

    Evening all,
Ill be off to Singapore with work in around a month.
I'd like to pick up a Seiko to add to the collection.
    Can anyone recommend places?

I'd especially like to pick up a KS / GS Hi Beat and a 7Ax8 Chrono.

    cheers

    Dave

I don't know much about Seiko but from what I have heard they aren't ludicrously expensive? £100 odd for the most common ones (007 is it?)

Not for a King or Grand Seiko.

And how does this help to answer the OP's question?

Seiko are good value, but that is not necessarily cheap.
neither watch i'm after is current, the hand wind hi beats are difficult to find in the UK, but I imagine easier in the east.

Aha. I misread your post, I thought it was Seiko in general. Good luck with your search!

    I live in Singapore..

First of all u can buy new seiko's a lot cheaper here than the UK .. Skywatches.com.sg have a retail shop in the old shopping centre above Chinatown mrt. 'Fashion watches' IIRC.

If u want to get a 2nd hand high end Seiko - u could perhaps try Peng Kwee (various shops ) or championtime.com (.sg?) - have a shop at Bugis.

Also worth trawling round the various 2nd shops at :

1/ the mall at Chinatown mrt (as above)

2/ lucky plaza ( opp. Orchard mrt)

3/ Far East plaza ( Scott's road - also v close to Orchard)

Didn't manage to get away from the conference, so no shopping.

I'm back there later this year, so maybe then.
