    Return of something special!

I am feeling pretty happy as I have managed to get my hands back on a pretty special 16750 that I purchased and then stupidly sold earlier on in the year. It's a birth year (83) matte dial, quickset 16750 with gorgeous faded plots, matching hands and 3 bezel inserts. Tony has kindly allowed me to use some of his photos.... As they say a picture paints a thousand words.....

I've sold my Trit 16600, however when funds allow I will be getting another, I've also got a rather special, 100th Anniversary Squadron Bremont coming next year which I am excited about, in the meantime I'm on the lookout for a for a Steinhart OVM for day to day work duties!
I've also chucked my work issue watch on a NATO

I remember once hearing the stuff behind you in that photograph being described as 'cumulogranite'.

Randomly in London tonight for a work Christmas party, in the first bar I was in I noticed a guy wearing a lovely 5513 on a Nato, and then later on in the evening someone came up to me and complemented me on the 16750 saying what a gorgeous watch it was! It's the first time it's ever happened and the first night I was wearing it after getting it back!
