    Watched a friend try this at the weekend - doesn't work out if you have a crappy cheap bottle with one of those plastic/rubbery corks.

    I learned this "skill" last October in Gelsenkirchen in Germany. We were working there all week and we were staying in a big hotel with balconies. The banging of the shoes, bottle on the wall outside took a longish time and I would have not wanted to have been asleep on the same floor.

    Not as effortless as it looks in the video.
