Nice collection mate.
I do not have any Russian at the moment, but your collection makes me think.
Inspired by a recent post by Lampoc's here and on another forum, I thought it would be a good idea to start thread of boxes full of (or even overflowing with) Russian watches.
To get things started, here's mine:

They did a group buy on HdR and the experiences are not altogether positive. To be just I think the verdict should be positive though as it is after all not in the same price dimension as even swiss quartz.
Do be aware though that it is a pretty basic product. Do not expect more.
After all one way to look on quality is about meeting expectations, so the level of those has to be in proportion with the price level.
If you have more elevated expectation, then Kemmner will be a better choice.
This is an old photo:
I don't have these watches right now. At the moment I only have a Russian diver (zlatoust). Used to have also several (15-20) Poljot, Volmax, etc mechanical chronos in the past. My collection shifted to Swiss and Japanese divers, but I still miss some of them and still love and respect them. Never had issues with them and at least one Vostok amphibian has seen a lot of action. After 10 years of torture the mechanism broke down, it was not worth repairing, so a new one was installed with minimum cost.
A black strela will definitely be added again in my collection, soon and at least one vostok amphibian, starting with a black scuba dude.

Off on a slight tangent (sorry) - any recommendation re getting work done on a Vostok in the UK? I want to try a different dial on one of mine - too cowardly to attempt it myself!
