Incoming: Longines Legend Diver (the original!)

Last week I was undecided about buying this Vintage Longines or an IwC aquatimer 816.
The owner of the Longines lowered the price and I bought it!

Now here are some photos of a relatively rare watch:

Jealous doesn't even cover it...the new version is my relatively modest grail and what I am currently saving for...this original beauty is dreamland stuff for me

    Love it...enjoy

That really is fantastic; reminds of the JLC Polaris.

Thats' a fabulous watch, and really shows how faithful Longines have been to the old design. Congratulations!

Very well done! A rare beast indeed, I've only seen one other, I brokered a deal a few years ago for Colin Nalu when one came up for sale by the original owner a few years ago ..... Lovely watch.
    Cheers..

Wow, superb watch in excellent condition, perhaps the nicest Legend I have ever seen.

Really nice January catch! It looks like it will be a good 2014 for you!

Very nice, great find! It's 42 mm like the new ones right?

That was my question as well, how does it size up?

Biggest regret. Was offered an original for £500 at a time when I didn't know enough about watches.

It has 42mm, the new ones are almost a 1:1 replica!

They're cool aren't they! Took me years to get one.
