Typed in quantity 1000 - says not enough stock but lets you know what is left. 14mins to sell 90 odd watches - not bad.
I'll have to remember that trick for the Dreadnought chronograph.

Hopefully I've made the correct decision in not getting one. I'll wait for some pics on normal sized wrists then decide if I will go for one in the next batch. If there is a next batch that is.

    Closure - 23 November 2013

The Dreadnought Voyager was launched at 12 noon today and sold out in 13 minutes. It will take approximately 10 days to ship them all and ordering is disabled until shipping is completed.

    Apologies for any inconvenience.

Up until midday I had convinced myself I couldn't justify another watch this month, in the event I crumbled like a cookie...

Missed out as a home emergency (one of the cats brought a pigeon in through the cat flap). So SC or next batch for me.

I think I got one, email received, so hopefully all good.

Amazing what you can do on an iPhone whilst your wife is browsing and the kids are running around out of control......

    Fingers crossed.

    Got it!

Worth getting up at 4:00AM in the states. Initial panic when cc company denied international purchase. Had a backup card and made the purchase under the wire. Had to sell my DN a few years ago and passed on the forum purchase because I was not actively participating. I've been trying to buy back several of the watches I had to sell and this is great! When I got the email on the DN GMT there was no hesitation to go for it. Thanks Eddie for an unexpected but welcomed Christmas gift!

As its a regular release they should pop up on SC and also bring the price of the original down quite a bit to more sensible used levels.

Please for Eddie, £80,000 in 15 mins......Not bad!

    I too was lucky!
Iam off to Kao Lak on 3 December so hope may luck might extend to giving it its first dive there.

Ummed and ahhed to long and decision made for me. Don't really have the funds right now but it is a great looking watch. Good luck to everyone who bagged one and hope to read all about them when they start turning up in the next week or so. Secretly hoping the next batch don't turn up for a couple of months when I'll have some more funds.

My day began at 7 am so I could be ready for the shop opening at 8 am and I had planned my day accordingly. Imagine my surprise that I had not read the email about it opening at 12noon correctly. No matter I thought, I have my iphonedoodah. I got myself set, ready, go. Picture the scene as I connected to the page and attempted to fill out the details on A STUPIDLY SMALL FLIPPIN SCREEN. I even enlarged FAT LOT OF BLOODY GOOD THAT WAS. So by the time I managed to get ready to fill in the payment details I discovered I HAD NO BLASTED INTERNET CONNECTION. By the time a kind soul lent me a laptop THE DARNED WEBSITE SHOP HAD SHUT. I am sure you will understand I am not in a "good place" right now.

The next 100 will be delivered next week but won't go on sale until the first 100 are shipped.

The first 100 sold out already???

Fantastic news, congratulations to the lucky hundred, and well done Eddie for banging out yet another superb product. The Precista, Smiths etc range are in very good hands it seems and is still setting the benchmark for microbrands around the world.

First time I looked at my phone today and I thought I'd missed out at 12.02 when it said unavailable, but a page refresh later I got my order in, must be good karma after replacing my MIL's doorbell this morning,

Confirmation email too from our host within the hour, so looking forward to the delivery.

Getting up at 3:50am on the west coast of the US was worth the trouble. I couldn't sleep anyway after waiting a decade for this one! Well done on the rapid sell out.

Eddies surname - his wife's maiden name - his mother's maiden name.

Of course I understand, but I can't see any way of enforcing that. One could buy two or more watches from the same batch just by using different credit/debit cards. In the unlikely event somebody might try and succeed in buying a few watches as investment in the hope they'll rise in price as the first iteration of this watch, could be in for a big surprise as it was announced that this is not a limited edition.
Come to think about it, it could be beneficial as this might bring the prices down for the second hand ones .

Well given that David Niven is dead, that leaves Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. Which only makes six. Very odd indeed.
