It's a travellers pocket watch, 'early' quartz (November 1979), dual time and has a 2 alarms and a light, but I suspect the styling may be a little too much for some people here...
I present to you, the Seiko 7412-803Q in stunning red marble effect and gold trim. Approx 6cm * 4.5cm, the short Albert chain attached to it also screws into the back to provide a stand. It's quite a bit redder in real life than the pink shown here, it's surprisingly charming in quite a tasteless way :)

I could see myself using it as an alarm clock although I think something from http://www.braun-clocks.com/clocks would look better on the nightstand.
