If it was all about personality, you'd be a lonely man.
Always get behind your countryman. Simples.
...that makes me want to root for their opponents?
Haye with his distasteful remarks, which even in the context of generating box office, crossed the line.
Amir Khan with his arrogance and excuse-making/whining after defeats in recent years.
And now Froch who said he wanted to 'kill' Kessler (although he later apologised).
I'm not big into boxing but tonight's contest looks worth paying Sky Box Office for.
And I'll be hoping Kessler wins.

I don't agree with Burnsey there, but I'll be right behind Froch. He's great to watch and is a damn fine boxer!
This could be the fight of the year. Both good fighters and both have heart. A classic me thinks.

Oh and yes, I'm behind our man ;)
Have to agree with Scarto. While I admire Froch's style, the fact that he is a tosser (as British boxers seem to invariably be) makes me back his opponent.
The last fight was brilliant; I'll be watching tonight. Don't care who wins if it's anything like last time...
Nothing to do with blind allegiance. He's a warrior and he's British. Reason enough to back him against the Dane. The kind of steely mentality that defines top sports men and women and put this island firmly on the map. Haye and Khan are a different story but to hope that the Dane wins emphasizes what a mug you are.

Now THAT was a fight. Both great boxers. Froch's greater punch-rate won him the fight.
GREAT fight, loved it. Start to finish it was a fantastic, evenly-matched, professionally fought and exciting contest. The conditioning and resilience that the pair of them showed was unbelievable. My favourite fight of recent times by some margin. Worth every penny :)
According to the radio, Kessler is 50% British (mother from Salisbury).
