    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

I'd better get up early Tuesday then.

Do these have black or white date wheels Eddie, or is the stock a mixture of both?

I'd prefer a black one with the date font in white and with the white seconds dial if you have any.

Oh, look. I'm post number 3 on the first page.
I agree with this, (check first response to see why). However, since I will be spending my money on Christmas pressies for my darling children instead of a new watch, I will agree to sell my reserved spot to the highest bidder ;-)

They are still there and I presume will become available when Eddie has finished his full English tomorrow morning.

The only time I get a full English these days is on a rare excursion to Ron's Tinsley Transport Cafe, usually on birthdays and anniversaries (my wife loves a full English if she doesn't have to prepare it).

Hopefully he finishes his full English before 1330 as that's when I go to an internet free zone. (my work)

  20. #120
    Just ordered here also

Now to think about what strap and cross fingers for a 12 hour bezel.

I'm think maybe a bund for this one.

I would prefer the dive bezel on mine but a black date wheel and white constant seconds hand but I will be happy with whatever I get?

I don't like the sound of that. If I've missed out I want a guarantee that I'll get a Drednought GMT.

  27. #127
Fingers crossed i made it in time ;) Really looking forward to this watch (hopefully).
Congratulations to the new soon to be owners, and commiserations to the unlucky 2.

Hopefully my first Timefactors watch is on its way :)

Now...any ideas on how to hide it from SWMBO? I'm already keeping an eye out for shoes/handbags to sweeten her up :)

Eddie, if I am not one of the unlucky 2, please offer my watch to one of them as I'm lucky enough to have another one already....

Firstly, I plan to send my accountant an SMS so he can code the purchase in advance of sending a bookkeeping coding file to SWMBO, so hopefully she won't notice.

Regarding the watch itself, I have found that if I sell a number of other items to pay for it, then she doesn't have much to stand on, save to say that I could have sold that stuff any time and we'd be up by that amount (to which I retort that I would never have got around to selling this stuff if I hadn't bought this watch, so nothing lost or gained).

Bollocks. Missed out. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that the reason I missed out was because I was involved in an event that raised £7,000 (or thereabouts) to be split equally between MacMillan Nurses and Cancer Research. Still wanted the bloody watch though. :(

    Oh well.

I'd like to say that due to your excellent fund raising event being such a success for a couple of worthy charities you can have mine for the price I paid.

Bugger! I was about ten past, no despatch note so far but hopefully no news is good news :)

  40. #140
Edited as was typing at same time as you ^

My order confirmation was at 8.12am. Felt like it was taking forever to type my address.

Holding breath, or at least trying to until I get the magic dispatch email... (everything crossed here)

The problem with the shopping cart software is that if there's only one watch remaining in stock yet several people are in the process of completing their orders, the watch isn't out of stock until the first one completes their order. It will only tell you that the watch is out of stock if all stock is already sold before you start your order (I hope that's clear).

Can anyone remember how many orders Eddie can process per day? I'm sure he said when he was dealing with the Everest. It sounds like he's got to about 8.10 so I guess it's going to be a long night for some of us...

    Edit Typing too slowly...

Can you tell us the cutoff time Eddie to put us out of our misery?

My order confirmed at 08.14 but no despatch details either, but I did add a PRS5 to my order so took me longer to type everything in
