Congrats on your new Speedmaster! I saw that one for sale and was tempted. Beautiful watch!
OMG! (as the kids would say)
Just arrived this morning a nice and shiny Speedmaster date
So much better in the flesh than I imagined, many thanks to Unwittingaccomplice for a straightforward sale and for a fantastic watch, as Borat would say "It's very niiiice!"

Congrats on your new Speedmaster! I saw that one for sale and was tempted. Beautiful watch!
Yep, I was tempted too :(
Great purchase, enjoy!
TBH I'm so tempted by pretty much all the watches I see on the SC, I have absolutely no willpower whatsoever
More pics........
And the side view...........
Apologies for the poor camera shots, they really don't do this watch justice.
Measurements wise it's 14mm thick, diameter 38mm (40mm inc crown)
Before I got into watches it was always a Tag I wanted to own, now they don't even feature on my radar! I definitely think I'll be purchasing a few more Omegas, but I might have to cool it on the watch buying front for a while as the missus is gonna go ballistic! I might get away with absorbing them into my collection over a period of weeks/months but 4 watches in just over a week is bound to raise an eyebrow
Nice! I very, very nearly jumped at that to compliment the blue faced triple date I already have.
Enjoy!

I'm glad you didn't because I truly love this watch!Originally Posted by Barney12

Lovely watch and its got that all important feature, well important to me..it shows the date!
Congratulations.
Very nice... I had the blue dialled version... It was my first high end watch, and the accuracy was fantastic, in fact it was as accurate as any quartz.. 8) :)
I'm in the same camp as you regarding date, it is very important to me too and I can't understand why so many forum members dislike a date window so much :?Originally Posted by Steve1970
I used to have Barney's triple date, a beautiful watch. If it hadn't been for my failing eyesight which made the complications unreadable, it would have been a keeper....well for a while anyway!
Looking good. enjoy
Welcome to the omega club!! ?
What powers that then, a 7750?
Congratulations - that looks very nice.
Yes, a 7750. I actually prefer it to the pro, this is definitely a keeper for meOriginally Posted by Rob
Congratulations. Very nice.
My (SC bought) Speedmaster is back at Omega for service. Can't wait to get the thing back. In the meantime, the Constellation ('68 vintage) is getting a lot of wrist time.
Congratulations!! wear it in good health!
