Out of these I prefer the speedmaster. Purely on looks
I'm looking at buying myself my first ever brand new watch from an AD, and to make it special i'm hoping to go for a brand new omega.
I'm not entirely sure and would like to see what the general consensus is?
Firstly ceramic 45 mm pleanet ocean titanium
Secondly 44mm titanium speedmaster solar impulse
Last, but not least the Ceramic version of the seamaster 300..
Thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Doug
Out of these I prefer the speedmaster. Purely on looks
The Ti Seamaster every day of the week - that PO is just such a nice watch.
It's just a matter of time...
The Ceramic version of the seamaster 300 is my choice in today's which one would you have post.
I love all Omegas tbh...
And all 3 of those are nice Sir...
But if i had to pick one it would be the Speedy mainly due to looks i guess.
Hi Doug,
I know you said you'd like to buy it new from an AD but if you do opt for the Speedmaster, Jason has a brand new one for sale on his website (link below). Just thought I'd bring it to your attention but totally understand if you'd prefer to go to an AD....

I would definitely go with the speedy. It is more versatile and IMH(umble)O more classic.
the top one of the three is very ncie.
the dial looks a bit fussy on the second one.
the strap on the third not as good as on the first.
I would have the Speedy. The PO is a monster, too big for me and (like the blue ceramic SM300) seemed a bit dull to me. The SM ceramic seemed a bit small to me, or maybe out of proportion, I don't know but something didn't sit right. Which leaves the Speedy, which I wouldn't pay full price for, rather I would pick up the and ring Jason to bag this one:

Buying from an AD is a good but short lived experience. £1800 is enough for a send nice watch, or several nice watches.
Hmm thanks for the input guys, I'm very much torn, never having seen the Speedmaster,
But I would buy from The Ad as I have the option to buy at cost  what joy
Ceramic p.o.. I'm not sure I like the carbon dial on the speedmaster.
Speedy.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Have seen bought sold all three...The winner for me .... ceramic 45 mm pleanet ocean titanium Lovely Lovely Lovely
regards
Tony
I'd go for the first Seamaster. The Speedy is a fantastic watch, but the dial on that version is just too busy. The beauty of a Speedmaster is its simplicity.
Cheers tony,
I've the 300m and the PO but never the speedie so to hear that helps me make my mind up.
Not a great lover of Omegas
But I prefer the look of the Speedy.
.
The co-ax PO is amazing. I love the colour, the 3D dial, and the hand separation. The other two look flat in comparison.
john
Every watch a story.
From the three, I'd go with the Speedy...
Seamaster 300 out of those 3. I like the PO a lot, but in 42mm, rather than 45. The only Speedy I find compelling is the Moon watch, the one above has a pretty fussy dial
Seamaster 300 for me too. I don't much like the bracelet but that PO is comedy large and the Speedmaster a little bit too weird for me (and too big). At least it's substantially different to the regular Moonwatch, unlike almost all of Omega's "limited" editions.
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
My money would go on the Ceramic Planet Ocean 8) . Really nice looking watch. The Speedmaster dial looks far too busy for me.
Seamaster ceramic for me! as mentioned before i feel the carbon dial of the speedy doesn't make it look better than the moonwatch
You cant go wrong with the seamaster. The speedy looks a bit busy for my liking
If you are happy with the size, I would go for the PO
I'd say the first one...
Not fare, the 2nd & the 3rd photos are unable to show the beauty of the other two watches.
Nonetheless, I like the arrow hands and the 3D dial..
Number three for me. I prefer a black dial.
Opps.. wrong spelling ----> "Not fair"..Originally Posted by Sinjjchoo

Respect the past, live the present, protect the future
Planet Ocean without a second thought!
Another vote for the PO: I couldn't wear a watch that size, but it is a handsome thing.
One of my female colleagues has the automatic version of the SMP pictured and it looks superb. I had a chat with her yesterday about the bezel and how impressed I was with it. I may have outed myself as a nerd.Originally Posted by s67
The honest answer is none of them as all have weaknesses - first is too big, second has a busy/ugly dial and the third is bland.
But if I had to choose, it would be the lovely but large PO.
This one.....

Prefer the look of the planet ocean titanium personally
Out of those 3 I'd go with the planet ocean!
I can't decide between PO and seamaster 300. Maybe PO.
Stunning watches and what a choice. Having already got a Speedmaster [ not that one ] I would go for the Planet Ocean but I am going purely off looks.
PO for me, but i would probably buy second hand
PO for me, but the SM 300 is a really close second.
i'd pick the Planet Ocean :)
Ti PO, no contest.
300m Seamaster - the PO would be too large for me - but looks the best. Speedy version too busy for me...
“ Ford... you're turning into a penguin. Stop it.” HHGTTG
I am another one opting for the speedmaster. It is really light on the wrist.
Well the PO seems the obvious choice, and frankly I think it's the one I was edging towards in the beginning, that or the 300m the speedie although nice I'd prefer the real deal I think.. And it is quite busy.. Now just have to wait till may for them to come back into stock in th UK
Get a Steinhart or a Seiko, save yourself a packet.
Yep!! the PO would be my choice too!
