I don't usually like white dialled watches, nor those without luminous hands and markers, but that watch is fabulous. I need one!!Originally Posted by UVox

Naked Rayla today. Got sick of the bezel popping off and not sitting right so I removed the insert and glued the bastard on.
Thanks Bob.Originally Posted by rfrazier

Why it is hard to choose? Because I've got both versions.
Now I find myself liking the date version more and more every time I see it...

mmm, sure you're not confusing them with matches...??? :shock:Originally Posted by ben4watches

Every watch a story.
Andy, I do not care much for recent IWC products, but that Ingenieur looks faaaantastic.
sparmar1, I like that Tutima even better than the chrono version...and I like that lot!
Thanks! The no-date is discontinued. Jorg Schauer managed to find one for me after a bit of pleading. The hands are the 'intermediate' ones. They have ranged from black to all blued - note the second hand isn't blued on mine. It also has blued movement screws, not that I would have ordered them, but that was the only one left.Originally Posted by abraxas
You can get date models from Stowa easily, or the Marine Original is on pre-order. Also I think Jorg has one no-date with a chronometer grade movement left. But you can't have mine ....
For some reason I really think that looks good! :)Originally Posted by worlok

Same as it ever was.
I guess you know you've found a keeper when you never wear anything else!

Btw, I was wearing a Fortis Flieger during the hole thing. Recommended :D
Ah ... that's why. It's nice to have an original model with a bit of history already. It looks so much better without the date.Originally Posted by quoll

Thanks. Before I did that it was sitting in a drawer with the bezel off. At least now I can wear it from time to time.Originally Posted by andy100
I think it has that unfinished industrial look...... Wondering if I should paint the bezel where the insert was, but I would probably make a mess of it.
Congratulations, Henrik!! :D
