Magnificent Man Magazine - A bremont Venture...

Any one else had a magazine called "magnificent Man" land on their doormat this morning ?

It seems to be a bi-monthly subscription mag that has been set up be the Bremont Brothers and i guess they have sent out the first issue as a freebie.

On first glance it looks quite good, a couple of watch articles as you would expect (and not all Bremont!), articles on wine, property, guns, motoring, travel and other great stuff etc...on the face of it it seems like it would be the perfect mag for many on her to i thought i would share it...

worth a look if you are a fan of the likes of GQ etc

Yup, I got a copy too. Quite a variety of stuff in there, and some big names advertising too.

I got one too... not sure where they got my details from though, I am pretty sure I have never signed up to anything Bremont... I am wondering if they may have got my details from WoS?

It did raise a chuckle, as Mrs Snoopdong thought that my vanity had reached new hieghts with a subscription to "magnificant man" quarterly

Seriously though...who came up with that title? Must have been after one too many campari & sodas one afternoon :)
Still be interested to take a squizz at one though.

Had a chuckle at that myself :)

Not a bad thing to flick through though.

Are we all going to get a bill for the next issues?

    That sounds pretty bad.

I'm sure it's an enjoyable read but
    1) it's clearly an advertorial vehicle for Bremont. Nothing wrong with that but it would annoy if an article on a given model was presented as a factual review of a watch.
    2) What sort of chap would want to be seen reading a magazine called "Magnificent Man"? Well, I'll tell you what sort, a complete cock.

Got one too and was wondering where it had come from.

A couple of months ago I had written away to various brands for watch catalogues, and yes, one was Bremont.

    Can't help but agree
'Magnificent Man' sounds more like a gay pump mag rather than a self indulgent 'modern' man's lifestyle title!

Very daft title although I am feeling slightly magnificent since my copy arrived.

Some decent material in there and I am please that it isn't a Bremont catalogue by another name.

For what it is, I rather liked it. And let's face it, a watch freebee is not something to complain about, despite the strong Bremont presence. And actually there is nothing wrong with that anyway
