Very nice indeed. How much bigger than the Explorer 2 are they?
I love both Rolex Explorer models but they are too small for me (even the new 39mm Explorer could do with being a bit bigger)
The LRRP arrived today , very impressed, dead comfy on the bracelet, nice Lume, friction bezel and independent setting of GMT hand makes for an easy 2nd time zone.
Great quality and feel.
Sword hands fitted as custom factory order , I quite like them as an alternative to the standard baton type.
I think this may become a daily wearer .
I am at work so a few iPhone pics is best I can do.

I like that. :) I was considering one but a lens purchase ate up my funds. Those hands are perfectly proportioned to my eye.

I bought the standard issue and it was delivered within a reasonable timeframe.
With best regards, Kat
Congratulations...I love mine
The sword hands look very good.
Nice all round. WIGH

Nice looking watch with either set of hands. They both work with the clear, clean dial. Enjoy!
Looks great, the sword hands are a perfect touch 8)
Very nice, I really like those.
A fine daily wearer I'd say.
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Very nice, and I like the choice of hands.
Enjoy,
Bruce
Great choice. I remove the bracelet from time to time for a different look: black of dark brown DiModell Imperator (one for sale on the forum as we speak).

What's the quality of the bracelet/clasp like on these please?

I like that, as I do love my sword hands. I'd be interested in seeing what white ones would look like - does the gloss finish clash with the brushed bezel? - but certainly a handsome watch.
Glad you like it mate, and I'm glad its found a worthy new home 8)
Looks great and I've not not seen one with the sword hands like this. The others had a different bezel. I look forward to seeing some better pics.
Are you sure an Explorer 2 is too small....or have you become conditioned to thinking that way by the fashion trend towards big watches?Originally Posted by sevvy

It's not a case of being conditioned, it's just what I prefer. I've tried the Explorer 2 and it's just not quite right for meOriginally Posted by walkerwek1958
This "too small or large" thing passes me by. I changed from my DC56 several weeks ago ( after many months of wear ) and wore my '84 Datejust for a week or two. For a few hours it felt positively dainty, but thereafter just "normal". I've since progressed a week at a time via PRS5 Broadarrow, DA37, and later today back to the DC56. Personally I'm happy to wear any size of watch, I just think they need time on the wrist for the wearer to acclimatise. ( WISlimatise? )

I am happy with the size of both the LRRP and the Exp II. I am not sure if I would keep the LRRP if and when I get the new black Exp II as I think they will look very similar and be very similar in size too.
Nice watch, another brand to look into, there's just to many!
