Congrats on the latest addition, lovely collection 8)
Placed a WTB here and on the VRF forum last week for a white dial Zenith movement Daytona (Cosmograph for the purists) and my new watch arrived today :D .
A U serial 16520 from 1998 and I am very pleased with it, not perfect, but then it is 12 or so years old and has not been a safe queen. Previous owner had a full Rolex service in June this year at a cost of £800  so hopefully wont need one of them for a while!
Never had a white dial Rolex or a Rolex Chrono before, so two firsts in one, hope you like the pics.
Spot the odd one out..............whilst excusing the gratuitous collection shot, a rare occasion when I got the watches out, so thought a photo was in order
Congrats on the latest addition, lovely collection 8)

Very nice, I do like the more balanced dial of the oldies :)
Some collection too :thumbright:
Oh yes, but what a shot :shock:Originally Posted by Bluetinfloor

Great collection and nice addition!
You've got yourself a watch box problem now.
14 watches and only a 12 hole watch box and one on the wrist.
 indeed !Originally Posted by Bluetinfloor
What the feck did they do to it for £800 ? You've got me worried now.
Congrats on the Daytona. 8) Doesn't seem to be a great deal of Daytona love around here though, I've noticed.
Poor mans tudor big block.... very nice in white, and the dogs of a collection :salute:

Just a thought...what is your favourite brand of watch 8)

Not at all..... there is always a danger as coming across as a bit of a k*ob when posting such a collection shot. Totally aware that just to have one nice watch is the aim of many and indeed was my aim when I started collecting over 12 years ago. Then, Rolex or any other quality brand was out of the question, but times change and I have been lucky - adding watches as and when I could. The current set have been built up with previous Tudor, Omega and Rolex watches sold for slightly "better" versions many times over, it didn't happen overnight................and to put it in context, the whole lot might just about buy one (thats one) ropey Mil Sub !Originally Posted by cpys11688

Nice Dyatona (a personal fav of mine - although perfer the black dial 8) ), great collection. However.......................
no Explorer WTF. All very well have a great collection of Rolex Sports but you needed an Explorer BEFORE the Daytona.
Now away with you and stand on the naughty step :D

Great addition (although I'm not a fan of Daytona's); great collection - especially love the blue dialled snowflakes .. I think the word enjoy is superfluous here! But I'll state it anyway - enjoy!
/vince ..
Great collection

Good selection of some great watches. Strange that it took so long to try out the chronos though.
My thoughts exactly, very nice to see a collection built up over time too. One day...Originally Posted by Mr Stoat
Awesome collection. A lot of Rolex love there but I'm sure the value of the portfolio you hold has done well which is always nice...was there a big premium over normal Rolex Daytona out of interest?
Love some of the faded lume and patina on the older ones in that pic.
cool..you got it then ..looks great...really nice collection shot Andy...now lest hoep you dont decide to do ALL the zeniths as well as all the 5513's... that would be a mission and a half !!!
One day I shall have myself a Daytona, congrats extremely beautiful
