wear it for sure. get it on leather. i think it would look great on the brown with the goldtone buckle.
I have had my Gramps' retirement watch serviced and refinished by Steve Burrage (received back today). It had a lot more done to it than I'd initially planned (service, new glass, new pins, new dial(!), refinished case) so as I've blown the budget already, I'm at the point of blowing it further with a decent strap.
My Gramps wore it on a miliatry strap and I was going to put it back on this (or a new like for like version). However, I want to wear it and am tempted to put it on a decent leather/lizard band.

What do you think?

Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
I think blue always goes well with gold, give it a try.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
The brown with "gold" buckle has to be the default alternative, but I've just had a look at it against a blue Hirsch Carbon (fitted to another watch), and you might have something there. Thank you.
No love for the military strap?
Black lizard......
.......or gold mesh.....
Cheers
Its got to be brown with gold for me. The Black lizard is nice but needs a gold buckle

The brown for sure.
Brown with gold buckle will do the trick.
Well, I went for a Hirsch in the end:
And I'm well and truly happy with the result.
Good choice.
Any of the above would have been good but the black hirsch combo looks good. I've just picked up a reddy/brown hirsch ascot.
Good choice.
I had a mid 80's Gold with white dial/roman numerals Rotary quartz from new and it came on a black lizard strap with gold buckle.
I wore that poor thing to death and now it languishes dead in a drawer somewhere.
Now I think about it I should probably stick it in a jar and give it a decent burial somewhere.
Well, at least it's getting some use!
Great sentimental value to this particular watch, but it's also a lovely watch to wear.
Black leather strap - it looks sooo good with gold
