Prefer everything about the Seiko. Not one for Roman numerals and the bracelet looks better on the Seiko.
After looking through the white-dialled watch thread it got me thinking that I need a dressier watch with a white dial (but not strictly a dress watch) and it's about time to get one in. I have been thinking about it for a long while really but I've never quite got round to it because I either haven't had the funds or if I have, something else has taken priority. I did think long and hard about a Stowa (I've had one in the past and they are great watches) but I don't really have the funds to stretch that far and as this watch won't be worn that often I'd rather get something less expensive. I wear my Speedmaster most days and my quartz Seamaster at other times so this watch will only be worn on the very few times I wear a shirt and need a dressier watch.
I'm thinking of these three:
Seiko SARB023
Tissot Le Locle
Tissot Visodate
Prefer everything about the Seiko. Not one for Roman numerals and the bracelet looks better on the Seiko.
I'd forgotten about the new Tissot Visodate so have now added that one to the list
If it was going to purely be a dress watch I'd be going for the Tissot. Looks far classier IMO and one that I have always considered since seeing one in the SC a few months back. Seiko looks really bland for me.
Vistodate of those. The Seikos I always find to wear a bit on the tall side.

I don't mind the Seiko, but I'd like to see it on black croc (dressy) or padded tan leather strap (smart casual).
The visodate looks superb imho.
le locle, then visodate, then seiko for me.
i didn't realise tissot had brought out the visodate again, might have to get one of those to compliment my prs516 chrono!

Personal view is that the Tissot Le Locle is the 'dressiest'.
Visodate !
seiko
Seiko definitely IMO.
Cheers,
Neil.
Visodate for me; in fact I'm very close to getting that very watch myself.
Tissot Visodate - pure class IMHO.
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
Seiko bracelet looks pretty nasty, just seems to detract from the watch.
That Tissot Visodate looks lovely. Might have to go look at one of those. Completely ignored Tissot ever since I experienced their soft titanium
Visodate. For me a "dressier" watch means a strap, not a bracelet, and the Visodate fits the bill (although the Seiko on a strap would look good).
I would choose the Visodate.
Vintage looks, modern performance (accuracy+reliability).
First watch and Last watch - dont like the checker board pattern on the second one
but its all down to perference - one mans meat another mans poision etc etc
Out of those it would be the Seiko for me, closely followed by the Visodate.
I bought my dad the same Seiko but in black. It is an absolute beauty and I would wholeheartedly recommend it!
I have owned the Seiko and still own the Le Locle (though both with different dials). I prefer the Visiodate over both of them - lovely looking thing.
Seiko first then Visiodate for me, but they are pretty different beasties. One of each?
Visodate for me!
Tiisot is okay, but the Seiko has got alot going for it! The design of the hands and dial are especially appealing to me!
