The 1993 Tudor Chrono on SC sure is nice.
This one has turned in to a safe queen, and I hate that kind of thing. With this in mind it will be heading to SC soon.
But before I sell it, I would like a clear goal in mind for it's replacement, so this is where I ask for your help and input.
My requirements are simple, and I will spend all the money from the sale and could add a bit more towards to right watch. I would like a dive\sports watch with the following
Min 200M WR
Sapphire glass
Auto movement
can be a chrono
No Speedy's, Rolex (I have a new Explorer 39mm on order) and no Pams.
Any help or info. is welcome.

You said it. :) Don't know which model though as I don't know your budget. :)Originally Posted by captainhowdy

What about a Doxa? At £800-1000ish for one off SC it would be unlikely to turn into a safe queen. I had my first one delivered this morning and really like it, it's grown on me throughout the day! I normally wear quite sober, understated watches, so the orange dial took a little getting used to. So far, the only bit I would change is the clasp; I don't think it matches the quality of the rest of the watch. All in all though, it's a cracking watch. The retro design is unusual, and the watches are not produced in enormous numbers, so you're unlikely to encounter one in the wild, unless of course you end up at a WIS convention!
I'll go along with the Doxa idea and also:
Omega Seamaster
Seiko MM
SINN?
These two might leave some change in your pocket
Zinex
Helson
The WR rating you want leaves the field to mostly dive watches as opposed to sport watches though
you need one of these..
tuff one but i could have the answer

This ? Not big, not brash, not in yer face, wears like a Sea Dweller, very very comfy on the Ocean Racer strap .....

One issue with the Bremont Supermarine is that it appears to have a chronograph movement and is therefore very thick. Odd for a divers watch but I suppose it makes creating the chrono version a lot easier.
Why did this one turn into a safe queen and what will stop the next one doing the same? Until you answer this, the same fate may await its successor.
Mmmmmm that is the answer. :DOriginally Posted by redmond
I must get one of those.
