Nice catch, that's a very striking piece, I like it a lot.
(Can't help you with the re-lume, sorry.)

If you don't like vintage close your eyes but you'll be missing out. Got this a while back for short money off Ebay. Pics looked good and although it wasn't working didn't look like any major problems or flaws. When I got it aside from scratches and intermittently working it seemed to be in good shape. Off to the watch maker and VOILA!!! Awesome watch.
The watch is 40mm w/o crown and 43mm lug to lug. The bezel is a uni-directional 60 click and given how tight almost like it was never used. The coloring in the bezel has no appreciable fading, dings or dents(commonly found on these) and the dial looks perfect even under a loupe. There is absolutely no lume left though, really considering a re-lume. So far the watch is accurate to the minute (sorry seconds is delving too deep for me). The watch is nearly perfect except for the cheap plastic strap. I'm thinking of a silicone strap w/red stitching. Thoughts on the re-lume and strap would be great.
Nice catch, that's a very striking piece, I like it a lot.

The watch is beautiful. I wouldn't touch it cosmetically.
Gorgeous.
Love it - they are great watches with good PUW automatic movements, and largely overlooked by the vintage divers' fraternity. Here's mine (at the doctor's at the moment looking for a minute wheel...) - :)
nice catch, as for the re-lume, you can send it to bry on here who will do it sympathetically however IMO its best left as it is. nothing beats originality.
cheers

New strap, nothing more IMO.
That is one great looking watch 8)

That is lovely I love vintage and i wouldn't even consider a relume leave it as it is it looks great :D
Very nice John and in lovely condition.
Leave the lume alone. :D
Cheers,
Neil.
Sweet. Don't change a thing.
I'm another who thinks the lume should be left as it is.
Are the hands original to the watch? They seem a bit short?
Wow, that's really lovely.... I'd leave it just how it is too, enjoy!
Lovely looking thing. I know its a diver, but because of its strong period flavour I think it would really suit one of Eddie's racing straps.
The hands should be original. I believe these to be for an M9 or early run of NO date codes. Although there are Some NO date models with the longer, thinner stick hand(and rarer) I much prefer it with these hands. I see alot of the later variety with day & date with the thinner stick hands (like blueboys above). Given how the seconds are more toward the center of the dial on mine as well, a longer hand would obscure them.Originally Posted by Toshi

These are mine:
Only problem for you is now you'll start looking for the orange one to make a set; I know I did 8)
I want one, I want one! I never noticed that the hands on this watch are so bold! Great! I'm starting the search for one on the 'bay right now!
Thanks for sharing and wear it in good health!

Very nice watch. As others have said, leave that lume alone! It looks great just as it is.

:D Stunning, it looks in very good condition, just wear and enjoy it.
stunning watch, i think i would leave the lume as it is unless it starts to degrade. it's one of the best looking vintage divers i have come across.
