As the title says has anyone had any previous dealings with http://www.luxury2watch.com/shop/ they seem to have the best price for a Omega Seamaster Ladies 2285.80.00 (http://www.luxury2watch.com/shop/Omega/ ... 0.00/6064/) for my lady wife.
I understand that they are not an authorised dealer, but does that really matter?

I can't speak for that particular outfit, but we have numerous problems with other 'discount' internet watch places. Do a search in Watch Talk for Delicious Watches, for instance!!
I clicked the link you posted, btw, and there was a dodgy looking banner saying 'Win a highly SORT after Rolex Daytona' or something. This type of thing tends to bring seedy internet cafes in Lagos to mind - but maybe that's just me.
Never used them so can’t be 100% however they look like a gray dealer, they give there own warranty not the factory Omega one.
This means
1) Omega could well refuse to service the watch in the future
2) The serial number may have been ground off to prevent the supplying dealer from being identified (less common in the eu now I think)
3) This could impact the resale should your Mrs want to trade it on in the future.
Only you know how important these factors are to your circumstances.

do your s.elf a favour check out your local ad they state your saving £160 odd quid i,m fairly sure you,d get very close to that at an ad right now,you,d also give yourself a bit peice of mind,haggle man haggle.
well to be fair most carry the bond version of the seamaster but none here have the Ladies 2285.80.00 with the luminous hands.
Else I would pay the extra.
Buy the seller not the watch......
IMHO I'd not be dealing with them, don't get a good feeling about there site etc....
However if you do and it goes ok let us know

Over 24hrs and no reply to my e-mail.
I've decided to buy via the Omega shop in Heathrow Term 1 since I'm passing that way next week.
