    I remember reading about that when it was given to them, I wondered how long it would last! Mind you longer than I expected, but such a waste of a glorious car (before & after!).

    The article sounds like it wasn't their fault, that they had to take evasive action to avoid someone who had pulled out on them. Shame though :(
    It probably would have just caught fire at some point anyway :D

    From what I read when Lamborghini first donated it, the car was a pursuit car for the motorways to keep up with all the high end sports cars tanking it down to the south of the country - so was used in a real policing purpose :)

    And it was so effective, that the Police actually purchased another from Lamborghini. Can you imagine the fights at briefing to get Gallardo duty :?: :lol:
