Jon, thanks to you for keeping this passround on the straight and narrow
Not heard from CPF yet but just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all those who took part in the pass around, the watch is all but immaculate still! The only noticeable mark is on the crown, a testament to how well people can look after things in these kind of pass arounds.
Thanks for keeping it so tidy and indeed all the natos look in great condition too... I'll throw them all through the wash before it's sent on to eventual winner too
Cheers
Jon
Jon, thanks to you for keeping this passround on the straight and narrow
I second that - my gratitude goes out to Jon for organising this and my admiration in how well he has run it :cheers:Originally Posted by Lippy
I agree. A very well run passaround Jon. My first and I wouldn't hesitate to join in another next year.
Thank-you. :)
Any news (and before you think it, only Eddie is allowed to use the )?
Right, no news from CPF so we can move on...
I will be sending the entire package to Eddie tomorrow (sorry, had a manic week!) so we can get the chrono repaired under warranty. Sadly this won't be completed before Christmas so we will be looking at a draw sometime early in the New Year.
As usual I will ask Eddie to make the draw from the list of participants and he should be able to send the watch out direct to them.
Thanks again everyone
does Eddie have my address? :bounce:Originally Posted by Jonmurgie
Repair and draw or draw now so the winner can anticiapte over Christmas.
Or we could say the person who eats least turkey before the end of the year wins the watch.
I'll be in Poland where the Christmas meal is principally of fish (  ), so please feel free to send it to me when I get back.Or we could say the person who eats least turkey before the end of the year wins the watch.
More seriously though - Jon, thanks for organising this
I think the draw should be made as soon as possible...I'm away without internet access next Wednesday for 6 weeks! :(
Thanks Jon - I look forward to someone else winning the watch (as is my usual luck!)
Cheers,
Guy :)
Hi Jon, Eddie,
I don't mind you drawing my name now and receiving my PRS-5 after crimbo
OK, I realise by making this statement I will never win the draw, but if I do win, I am pretty much living under a rock until February and may be out of contact. I will be back to claim my winnings though. :D
Apologies all round for delaying this. Just too busy, like insanely so and also not around. Still hope to be in the draw
Hi Jon, Have you managed to pull my name from the hat yet ?
Come to daddy
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
What's happening, has anyone won this?
His last post was 23rd Dec - hope he's alright. Give it a while, don't know if he's logged in recently.
Hey folks... all is well, just busy with little baby!!
No news from Eddie yet on the status of repair so we'll just have to sit tight for the time being :)
Hope the first family Xmas went well Jon!
It's still in Germany, I'm expecting it to be returned this week.Originally Posted by Jonmurgie

Congratulations - sounds like it's going to be used as intended as well, which is good. Cheers as well to Jon for organising this - it's the second pass around I've been involved in, and it's always interesting to read the thought of others
Looks like I'll need to buy one now - as soon as I've recovered from my annual mugging by my garage - having two cars with services and MOTs due a week apart is a mistake I'll try not to make again.
Thanks Jon
Congrats Christian
Bl@@dy Eddie ! :P
Congratulations!
Maybe next time :(

Congrats Christian, and thanks to Jon for running this pass-round.

You're all very welcome :)
Now, what shall we do next... I've got a Dreadnought we could all have a go with, might be quite an expensive buy in though!
Eddie needs to tell us his forthcoming watches so we can make plans for the next passaround!
