I purchased this watch about 5 years ago and it’s always got me searching for information alas there is so little out there.

This article about sums up what I have managed to find.

Now most watches I find by Duvoisin are of a very high standard and more to the complication and luxury side of vintage watch making.

Now my watch looks like a company trying to save there arse in the 70s using quality out sourced stock case movement etc with an eye on quality the dial is exceptionally finished and does photograph well.
I’d love to find out a little bit more about what was going on at the time of its manufacture.
I’m presuming it was a fight against the quartz revolution that was going on.

I’d also like to point out that my good friend the late Tom Dick found me the strap on the watch, he just had the eye.

The watch in all its glory.
