    Sinn Strap query

    Hi all

Have an issue with the metal strap on my Sinn watch (103 SA model).
One of the link pins (screw type, with a slotted head) will not budge and the slotted head is damaged (this is how I got the watch) so dont want to ruin it further. Any advice on the best way to remove it? Will try and post some pics later or is a new strap my only option. Issue is with the first link on one side of the watch so I cant even remove the links around it.

    Thanks

    Adam

    It's possible it's been loc-tited.

Try heating up the area with a hair drier & then undoing the screw. If the screw head really is knackered a watch repairer may be able to sort it for you - a new bracelet is likely to be £200+

Thanks for the reply. I had thought about heat but didn't fancy taking the blow torch to it! The hair dryer is a great idea.

If it is stuck, try GeoffD - he removed (drilled out , possibly) a Panerai(clone) lug screw that I cleverly snapped off.

    Cheers,

    Guy :)
