    BMW designer in Rolex shocker!

    Well, let me clarify that...

I was reading a supplement that came with my Autocar subscription, recently, on the new BMW 5-Series GT. Lots of nice pics (though I'm still not sold on the car itself) includind one of the interior designer, Oliver Heilmer, sitting in the back of his creation...wearing a Rolex GMT. No surprises there, really, but what did get my attention was that it was on a Bond NATO.

    Kudos to Oliver Heilmer...

    Cheers,

    Guy :)

He needs to get in touch with Eddie - it would look better on a Speedbird Nato :D.

As you know I am a bit a fanatic, and I shell out some emails per week to friends who have seen
me wearing a Nato - and they all want one...

(my best success was this up-to-date, he wears it like that still one-and-half year later like that)

I had a thread on Watchuseek about opinions in my Speedie Pro on a NATO Bond a few weeks ago, and whether it looked cool (it does, IMO!), as my wife was going on about it looking cheap blah blah blah. She likes that new Bond fellow, so I'm going to show her this and tell her I was obviously right (for once!). These little victories are what it's all about....

Paul O'Grady has been sporting a Rolex Daytona on a Nato strap for ages on his TV show.

There's a picture floating round of President Sarkozy sporting his Sub on a NATO. Always knew he was a man we could do business with.

It took me years to get used to my Dweller on a NATO and now they are hip? Guess I have to change back to stainless steel again :)

just had to post this, bought it yesterday- and switched off the bracelet and onto the nato on the train home, i think it looks much better.
i didnt really get the nato thing til i bought one of eddie's- the quality is in a different league to others ive tried. at the weekend i (rather pathetically) just wore it on its own, because i was anticipating collecting the watch, and a girl at a party took it as a fashion accessory and told me it looked cool!
im going to order a bond today, i think it will look even better..
