Thats wicked but £800... mind you the 59p on the iphone isn't that much cheaper i.e. you have to buy the bloody phone first....
Sorry if this has been posted before, but just how cool is this clock 8) I reckon if I bought one I'd have it in it's native German language :)
If the £800 is a bit steep, you can get it for your iphone for 59p

I spotted this at 100% Design at Earls Court a short while back.

I'm not sure which variant I would go for- or not at least before I was reassured that it had mastered the difference between half seven in English and half seven in German.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
thats awesome ,shame about the price
would love one though
What did it look like in the flesh? Well built and different enough to warrant the price tag?Originally Posted by Carlton-Browne
Yikes, that's a serious clock and a serious price. I paid a fair few quid for a George Nelson wall clock and thought that was more than enough to pay. Funny, how I don't think twice about spending £££'s on a watch but think twice about a clock.
I must admit though, that clock is seriously cool but out of my price range unfortunately.
I don't think it's worth £800. In my experience of buying office furniture significant discounts are to be expected though frequently this would involve purchasing in quantity - 40-50% is quite normal. I've no idea about clocks but that would be my expectation.

Very nice if you have an uber cool minimalist loft pad :D

Will give the iPhone one a look. May be worth 59p.
It's good on the iPhone, but bet the real deal is a stunner. They should have optional lettering...
'Five o'clock and all's well', 'It Is half eight already you lazy bugger', 'get off the internet and goto bed o'clock' etc
The IPhone would be good if you could set it to appear when you hit the home button from sleep mode etc, maybe you can, I should just download it as it does look preety cool, like the real clock.
Did you dload the app? Does it do any of the stuff you hoped it would or is it just a straight forward clock app?Originally Posted by sniper-sam
It is a pretty neat piece of design but £800 is a hefty price
At about £100 I'd snap one of those up - at that price point though there's no chance...
Just bought the iphone app. Very pretty but as sniper-sam says, it'd be great if it was a screen saver or similar.
I wonder if any replicas of the real deal will be appearing from China soon?......and I wonder if people would have the same attitude to this as they do to watch replicas :?: Probably not.
I agree I would be really interested on the screen saver as i would save you time when in need to see timeOriginally Posted by benny.c
Now that is cool, I'm off to the Apple apps store to find it for my iPhone.Originally Posted by benny.c
great clock, if only it wasn't so expensive!
Very cool.
Indeed just need the phone now.
