Looks good, Tag Monaco style which is no bad thing.

I never thought I would ever be tempted by a square watch, but I just got an offer through from CW for £100 off an alligator strapped C13 or C15. (I've got one of their divers.)
I'm seriously tempted by this one for £285.00

What do you think? Seems to be a lot of watch for the money........

Isn't the Monaco a chronograph? Because of the race ...Originally Posted by PeterM

I own a Christopher Ward C6 Kingfisher and think they're pretty good value bang for the buck.
I believe the watches are assembled in Switzerland with Swiss movements (the company started out based in the UK, but moved to Switzerland to reduce costs). Though the prices across all their models do seem to have risen this year. Guess the recession's bit hard!

If you like square. Four times the price but many more time the watch IMHO.
I thought this thread title was a play on the Cameo by Temption:

Look at the Tag / Heuer Monaco's before you make a decision - these are classy!!!
I'd look for a good priced Monaco TBH - can't be too much more - in real terms and worse saving for, as bought at the right price they will hold good value and the ownership prospect is much nicer IMO.
Saying that I'm yet to own a Monaco myself - I've bought two - but only as presents.
It's just a matter of time...
This one is very nice and is on S/C at the moment.

Everyone should have at least one square watch in their collection. 8)Originally Posted by magirus
I don't usually like square watches, but noticed a bloke on the train with a Tag Monaco today. Looks very nice, would have one. Still not keen on the JLC Reverso though
That's been my thinking up 'til now....

Since purchasing one of their Jazzmaster Chrono watches the Hamilton Square has caught my eye.
The character of Jack Shepherd (Matthew Fox) in Lost wears a Hamilton Lloyd chrono when he returns from the island. No pics I'm afraid.

I wasn't sure about square watches until I tried on the Tag Monacco. But now I'm convinced I must have one.
.
If the Monaco wasn't a DD module I would have had one yesterday.
I like this one very much but I think it's out of my league. I've never even looked at the price. :(

A nice looking watch, though I'm not very keen on the 'branding' on the lower rh corner of the face. It reminds me of sports clothing :P
Someone should make a sports, rectangular watch, as like the Omega diving watch from the 20's-30's.
Performance and classic lines.
