Hi
You have not heard of them because they do not exist
The case and dial are Fortainmellon
The Movement should be a font cal 150 check under the balance it may be the the wheel has been changed
cheers
Ian
Can any of you military guys shed any light on this ATP I picked at the car boot sale.
Stainless steel case. A service mark for 1954. Some other service type marks but I can't make them out as being a date.
The movement is an Everite IS this right I can find no reference to ATP and Everite. May be it's had a movement swap some time over the years?
Any information greatly received.
Many thanks
Mike

I'm pretty sure that "Everite" was a trade name of some watches sold by H Samuel.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Thanks for the info, Ian. I can't see 150 under the balance but have no knowledge to take it apart for a closer look. It is stamped Swiss Made 15 jewel would the Fortainmellon be !5 jewel?Originally Posted by IanD
Yes Eddie, Everite was the brand name for H.Samual.

Hi
I have checked and the movement does not look like a Font150
If the movement does not have any marking under the balance it can be identified by either the setting parts under the dial or manufactures mark and calibre.
Everite would only be a trade name marked on a swiss ebouche
All ATP were 15 jewel but Enicar used both 15 and 17 jewel movements

Thanks Ian, for your time and effort on this. It has no other marks as I can see, so it's looking like a movement swap. Anyway nice old watch for a Fiver.Originally Posted by IanD

Hi
I have have about 60 of these and I have never got one for £5
So you cannot complain

Apart from the "Everite" marking the movement is identical to the one in my unbranded ATP watch. The movement in mine does have "150" marked under the balance wheel.
