So boys own-up what do you drive...I'm fascinated in brands of watches and cars people choose and find out if there is any correlation!
I wear a Panerai 111 and have a Merc CLK which is soon to be replaced by an Oyster card! :D

Usually Rolex on the wrist, and this M-weapon :)

Loving this thread...wow you've got a great selection there. I neeeed to get myself a decent camera!
That Daytona / GT shot is CLASSIC
I fancied one of these but not very practical for the UK roads
So I bought this instead
This on my days off,and been wearing my Marinemaster a lot lately :)
well since the trusty old 106 bit the dust at 360k ive been driving a nissan primera ( i know, i know, retired bank managers car, dont ask me why  ). while i was travelling its been the traser all the way, but since i got back the g shock has had the most wrist action for some reason...
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
No pic but an old BMW 525i and whatever watch I happen to have on. Unless I've appropriated the CRV from the missus!
Well, unfortunately 3 kids + 2 dogs = an estate car...................... worse still it's not an M5 estate
Anyway here is my main mode of transport which is now 12 months old and still looks the same as this snap from last summer.
Just like John I have a love of Subarus and this used to be my main mode of transport.........
2003, Impreza sti with PPP and a little further tweak from TSL motorsport in the shape of the TSL333 kit (that'll mean nothing to most people  ). Fast road setup by powerstation in Tewksbury......... oh I miss the noise, speed, performance.............
Meanwhile this takes priority over flash cars and watches :)
I'm sure it'll be worth it and once completed the wife has insisted that another scood graces the driveway :D , who am I to argue although I am trying to steer her towards a VXR8
Cheers

I just love my Heico factory tuned ex-Met surveillance and pursuit S70 T5. It's had an interesting life, goes like a absolute rocket from any speed, and doesn't attract any attention. Just went over 172,500 miles the other day and feels as tight as a drum. I'll keep it as a daily driver until 300,000 and then I'll keep it as a classic. :)
I should really add in my daily watch:
Currently have a stop gap E39 528 as an autobahn mile muncher before I head over the pond
looks very similar to this
it's a stop gap as this decided to blow up all in spectacular fashion on the A8 autobahn coming back from the ring a while back
watch wise a 16600 seadweller, Sinn U1 and a Damasko DC56 - correlation they are all :tool: s

Erm, that's a tough one mate! Probs the bint but it's a tough call
Ludicrously cheap at the moment as long high mileages aren't a problem for the buyer. I actually got this one for free from a chap who could no longer afford to run it. I spent about a grand getting a few things done and it's superb throughout, the chassis used on the 850/P1 70 series is a great balance between taught and comfortable.Originally Posted by spogehead

The b series VTECs are notorious for oil burning. Mine had a hard life over the last couple of years, Uk trackdays, a few ring trips and several long european road trips meant it had a thirst for oil. Silly short gearing and plenty of autobahn driving means at 130 mph plus you are sitting at 7500 rpm for sustained periods. I could have fixed it but they sell for a LOT more in mainland europe than in the Uk so it had to goOriginally Posted by Filterlab

This is totally unconnected with the fact that it's a slightly tired Ford Focus turbo-diesel. :)
Actually, it is unconnected, now I come to think about it...
Redundancy + company car going = going from this:
to this:
Although it did mean I was only relegated to rank of pedestrian for about 4 days. The mrs has a MKV Golf which meant we could still get about.
The Focus is actually pretty bloody good - plenty fast enough, plenty of room, handles well and nobody really looks twice at it. I hated that BMW - I didn't like the ride particularly with RFTs, it was too small, had a ridiculously tiny boot, it was underpowered, poorly spec'd and the RFTs let go without much warning which was never fun. It did handle well and had an excellent driving position, but that only made me hate it even more

Wear the watches in my sig below, so other than I have a Jap bike / couple of Jap watches + a German car & a few German watches, I don't see much of a correlation.
Andy
Wanted - Damasko DC57
Another vote for the mundane - a varying selection of cheap watches, and a Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 'Eco Easytronic' which has the advantage of £35 road tax, virtually free insurance and 60+ MPG.
On the other hand, I have a couple of bicycles which each cost more than the car...
