Some great looking watches. Rod, I like that example very much. It's hard to find better, imho.

    Best wishes,
    AP.:)

It's all been said already but add me to the list of Oris admirers but I have to confess I've never worn mine yet (or even sized the bracelet)!
    My only Oris:

I always liked the look of certain Oris watches but never realised how high quality they were for the price point until i got my self a Williams F1 model and was stunned at how well made it was -

Re: Oris - what do we think?

Well I picked it up at lunchtime and I've had it on a couple of hours now.

When I looked at it before I couldn't really get a feel for how it wore as it was a lot too big for me, so all I could do was hold it in place to see how it looked on.

Obviously when I bought it they took a couple of links out so it fits nicely and having worn it since I have to say, it's really lovely on!

It has a nice weight to it without being heavy, and the watch and bracelet feel very smooth on. And it's got a subtle classy look, not flash or toolish or complicated but still substantial with its large crown, textured dial and solid looking bracelet.

Of all my watches it has a feel of quality and comfort most like my Omega Seamaster Professional. And that is high praise.

Very very pleased indeed with it. :)

Re: Oris - what do we think?

I think Oris is on a par with Longines. Two brands punching well above their weight. Swatch has done well to elevate the brands just below Omega. The hydroconquest I just bought is close in quality to my old Seamaster Professional.

Oris' new marketing for the BC4 range has impressed me too. They feature in the new 00/24 magazine.

This is a model the really speaks to me. Came up for sale a while back and I'm still kicking myself for not buying it.

SOme might say that actually the Speedmaster II has a hint of the original 1969 Chronoris (several models below) in it. They came out at around the same sort of time, though, so just try getting that past the jury

I got an Oris this morning :)

It's a TT1 Titanium with lume dial and I'm very impressed with it.

It's sporty and chunky but lovely looking too. I love the light weight and warmth of the Titanium too.

Just wondered what peoples thoughts were, both with regards to the watch itself, but also to the style, and what we thought it might be sensibly worth?

It's a 40mm (nice size), and it's stainless steel with the bracelet and clear caseback.

It looks very much like this.

No idea as to the exact value, but I like it a lot.

Oris tends to be good value for money.

I would like the old model Oris Regulateur "Der Meistertaucher." I do not care much for the latest orange model.
