    .
MR has been in London for the last few weeks making an ass of himself. Looking at him, there's one good reason not to be doing drugs.

... but I've seen a few good write ups on his latest movie The Wrestler to make me want to see it. I liked him in Angel Heart.

One of my fave films ;-)

At least he's not one of those clean Hollywood a*ses. He's got his life in his face, and I like that.

The Wrestler is the film to see this coming week. He is going to make a big comeback in the next Ironman film and a new Sly Stallone project.

He tried to get into boxing but there were rumors that some of the matches were rigged. Didn't go to the cinema in a long time but I like Aronofsky's movies. Not great at the box office but "Pi" and "The Fountain" are among my favorite movies.

    hes the original motorcycle boy

he had a lot of family demons at least he was true to himself

And I think is the only voice coming out of Hollywood who did that.

An interview with him on CNN:

    http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Movies/ ... rss_latest

"Seeing your entourage leaving with everything they can carry." he says, giving an example of a particularly bleak time, "And you're standing there in the dark with your thumb up your ass."

Bruce Willis is a big supporter of the military, he's from an army family, born at a US base in Germany.

    Military Interests

Throughout his film career, Willis has depicted several military characters in films such as The Siege, Hart's War, The Fifth Element, Tears of the Sun, and Grindhouse. Growing up in a military family, Willis has been publicly supportive of the United States armed forces. In 2002, Willis' youngest daughter, Tallulah, suggested that he purchase Girl Scout cookies to send to troops. Willis purchased 12,000 boxes of cookies, and they were distributed to sailors aboard USS John F. Kennedy and other troops stationed throughout the Middle East at the time. In 2003, Willis visited Iraq as part of the USO tour, singing to the troops with his band, The Accelerators. Some reports from military officials suggest that Willis tried to enlist in the military to help fight the second Iraq war, but he was turned away because of his age. It was believed he offered US$1 million to any civilian who turns in terrorist leaders Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, or Abu Musab al-Zarqawi; in the June 2007 issue of Vanity Fair, however, he clarified that the statement was made hypothetically and not meant to be taken literally. Willis has also criticized the media for its coverage of the war, complaining that the press were more likely to focus on the negative aspects of the war: “I went to Iraq because what I saw when I was over there was soldiers — young kids for the most part — helping people in Iraq; helping getting the power turned back on, helping get hospitals open, helping get the water turned back on and you don't hear any of that on the news. You hear, 'X number of people were killed today,' which I think does a huge disservice. It's like spitting on these young men and women who are over there fighting to help this country".
