Very nice, clear instructions... thanks for posting :)
get your self a tool, thin pocket knife is ok but these work better ...
Take the tool and angle it into the space between the bezel and watch
Add upward pressure to the bezel and for a better word wiggle and slide the tool between and then twist to pop the bezel off... with pressure it will come off ....
Very nice, clear instructions... thanks for posting :)
Excellent.
But how do you put it back?
well for that you will need to send $5.95us to bezel buggers C/O noah fuller hong Kong ...... hahaha
you'll need to wait for tomorrow ...... hahaha
Usually a good crystal press will work as a bezel fitter :D
Noah,
Great work and thanks for sharing this information in such a clear and easy manner
Very good, clear instructions. I would still not want to try it incase i broke the wtach.
WooHoo :bounce:
I just tried this on my Seiko 6309 and popped my bezel removal cherry.
Oh, and I read the 'Put it back on' thread too so the case is now back in one piece.
:D
glad it worked out for you
thanks for the advice!
Looking at my monster, the gap is very small - not something I'd wanna try unless the tool is thin enough!
What's the blue tool, is it a special bezel remover?
Thanks for posting the instructions by the way
The blue tool is a standard caseback remover. I use a small swiss army knife, but any reasonably thin and strong blade will do the trick.Originally Posted by Bloobird
It's a good idea to put masking tape around the area just in case the tool slips.
Don't have the nerve or the competence to take a bezel off, but at least I now know how to.
remove a bezel is one of the more easy thing to do ...
but Bezel remove is usaly done to start work on other more anvanced things ..
Second the tool Noah has used, always had probs removing bezels before trying his technique.
wow glad I could help ...
Thanks!
Nice to know how it is done, but I'm far too chicken to do those sort of things!
Is it easy to replace the bezel after removing it.... Sorry if thats a stupid question
Usually it really depends on the bezel you're fitting and if she's been lightly greased.
Did this to my Rolex SD and cleaned all the dust and dirt out, just make sure you put everything back in the correct order
Probably just a word of warning..... thats how MOST Bezels are removed
Brietling need screws removing, and I am sure some others do as well.
