They certainly have a style all of their own and that must be applauded.

I loved Yema, I own 2. Love their designs and company history.... But I've been turned off them recently. They pump out new releases so fast and their customer service is renowned for being awful. Quantity over quality..?

I agree and I´ve liked one or two of their designs over the years but upon a bit of consideration, meh...the featured urban classic f'rinstance, don't mind, quite like the look, slimness, vintage similarities with the Baltic hermetique I just bought, but no lume and only a hesalite crystal, arguably the inhouse movement performs no better/ worse than a miyota 9000...and have heard less than stellar things of their customer service.

I would want a date window at that price.

Funny, my first thought was "isn't it nice to see so many options without a date window".

I second that … I always like the cleaner face of a non-date (although I do have many watches with - it’s hard to avoid).

I've had a couple of recent Yema watches and they were horrible. Budget quality at mid-range prices.

I currently own two Yema pieces, the Co-Lab Pearldiver (38mm) with the inhouse Y2000 movement and the 1960s reissue of the Superman 300 Skindiver (39mm) on the Scales bracelet with the Sellita SW200 movement.....both are great watches with no QC issues and keeping great time so no complaints here.

Oh, both watches are now discontinued so can't really speak for their newer models....

I really like that, especially on that blingmaster bracelet.

Appealingly slim and you've a choice of size, which is nice. Not as polished, less shiny having brushed sides, there's a Green dial version of the Baltic Hermetique, similar field watch vibes, 37 mm x 46 mm, auto though rather than hand wind, just figured a mention. I'd also note there's far more lume on the Baltic's hands, syringe shape so better legibility, dunno if that matters to you.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the Baltic! Personally not that fussed about lume in general, I think it's the idea of a bit of bling while being field watch-esque that I find appealing in this instance.

You're welcome, I'll be interested in your thoughts on the Yema if you decide to get it.
