    HedgeHopper resto

    Hi

Thought you might like to see this restoration of a 1972 145.026 Cal. 911 ' HedgeHopper ' Flightmaster.

The previous owner was a decorated US Special Forces Medic who served in Vietnam.

Nice to see that its been done sympathetically, and not went for the full NOS finish.

Great looking watch and a job well done.
    Cheers,

    Ben

Thank you for the kind comments....

I managed to source ( ultra rare ) NOS crowns & pushers from a chap in Switzerland and a very good original correct T-Swiss dial from the Netherlands.

STS did all the really hard work sorting the movement out which had suffered some water ingress ( hence the state of the dial ).

3x months and 4x figure outlay for the above and it's finally project completed !

Excellent restoration, nice to see it's not been 'over done'.

That's lovely, well done for making it happen,
