    A really interesting thread and those Yorkshire puds look amazing!

    We ate out this Sunday and the pub served some of the largest individual Yorkshire puddings I’ve ever seen. While they looked impressive unfortunately the texture wasn’t quite right. I suspect they had included some form of raising agent which which gave them a honeycomb like feel.

    I’ll stick to my own receipt at home.

    Yet to have a roast out in a restaurant where I rate spuds & yorks over my own or my mums. I was well trained.

    My local is under new management from the start of the year / end. They struggled with great food for years, finally nailed it & then sold. The new owners have gone back to what they used to serve & it’s so disappointing.
