    Not nay I’m afraid.

Why are you sending a 10k watch to a PO Box? Get in the car or on the train.
    Cheers,

    ^^^
make sure the buyer hands over bundles of used £10 and £20s - cash is king. (tongue in cheek).

or send by RMSD and buy separate insurance which has been discussed ad infinitum. However there may be problems posting such item to a PO Box address - check T&C. MBE is another Option but is more expensive on the insurance maybe 3% of value.

Another option - Can it be sent by courier (DHL for example) to a pickup point instead? But buy separate insurance as Option 1.

Those days are long gone for me. Jump in the car/train and make a day of it or no sale.

Just trying to send it to Duncan @ Genesis for repair. But most don't send to PO boxes.

Ah that’s very annoying. I haven’t used Duncan but would ask if it’s possible to pay for a collection service.

I’d expect a watch repairer to have something in place to cover watches coming in for repairs, if the expect/want customer from far away.

Exactly what I’ve done a couple of times when selling watches. I’ve even managed to arrange overnight stop with friends to catch up too

    Ah, I see.

Could you consider using Omega/swatch in Southampton, they will send you a service pouch and arrange collection fully insured.

All is well if he gets it, I guess not well if it don't get there ! That's the issue.
